The Commissioners of the South Monmouth Regional Sewerage Authority awarded Professional Service Contracts at their meeting on February 9, 2012 without public bidding pursuant to N.J.S.A.40A:11-5 et seq. and/or N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq.  All appointments are for one year and expire on February 14, 2013. The Resolutions of Appointment and the contracts are available for public inspection at the SMRSA Administrative Office at 1235 18th Avenue, Belmar, New Jersey.

The Contracts were awarded to:

Manna & Bonello, P. C. for General Legal Services in an annual amount not to exceed $19,200.00 as retainer in accordance with their proposal dated November 21, 2011;
Ferraioli, Wielkotz, Cerullo & Cuva, P.A. for Auditing Services in an annual amount not to exceed $23,500.00 for 2012 accounting services and conducting the FY 2011 audit in accordance with their proposal dated November 2, 2011;
Dilworth Paxson LLP for Bond Counsel Services in an amount not to exceed $225.00 per hour in accordance with their proposal dated November 14, 2011.  This is a non procurement appointment. Any and all work that may be undertaken will require a separate and distinct authorization by the Board of Commissioners;
QC Laboratories for Water Quality Based Laboratory Testing Services in a budgeted amount of $16,113.00 in accordance with their proposal dated October 25, 2011;
Air Nova, Inc. for Air Quality Based Laboratory Testing Services in a budgeted amount of $15,100.00 in accordance with their proposals dated October 6, 2011/December 2, 2011;
Essex Service Corporation for Instrumentation Metering Service in an annual amount not to exceed $9,750.00 for the services as determined in accordance with their proposal dated November 14, 2011;
Coastal Solutions, Inc. for Information Technology Support and Computer Services in an amount not to exceed $8,268.00 for services as determined in accordance with their proposal dated October 24, 2011;
Appointment of Charles L. Casagrande of the Danskin Agency as the Authority’s Risk Management Consultant for the NJUAJIF in an amount not to exceed $9,188.00 (funds payable from the Authority’s NJUAIF annual premium) in accordance with the Agreement dated February 9, 2012.
